Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Alpine, Calif.) filed the necessary paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) and formed an exploratory committee three months after his initial announcement.
Hunter will formally announce his candidacy in South Carolina later this month. The website for his exploratory committee will be gohunter08.com.
