Jerome Armstrong makes an observation that speaks to the continued likelihood that Senator Sam Brownback will garner major support from the religious right and anti-abortion factions of the Republican base.

I drove inside the beltway and across the river yesterday (I love saying that as it makes it feel far away) to DC. Right smack into a cluster of anti-abortion protesters– every corner, every block, everywhere around the capitol (and I proceeded to get lost and drive around the capitol too). Anyway, the only Presidential signs I saw, and more than a few, were for Brownback, fwiw.

This was during yesterday’s Right to Life March where Brownback (and Rep. Duncan Hunter) promised to reverse Roe v. Wade if elected president.
