[...] My guess is Rudy Giuliani will not be reusing this ad from his 1993 mayoral campaign at any point in his presidential campaign. It’s narrated by Donna Hanover, Rudy’s second ex-wife and features footage of his son Andrew and daughter Caroline. Giuliani has been intermittently estranged from his children and their relationship with him has been a subject of scrutiny of late. [...]

Fair enough Matt, though your link is broken. Here's the <a href="http://www.nypost.com/seven/03042007/news/nationalnews/son_burned_rudys_toughest_test_nationalnews_niles_lathem.htm" rel="nofollow">link to the post</a> story where Andrew says he loves his father.

That fact doesn't change the fact that Rudy has a horrible relationship with his children and they are now talking about that relationship. Take it up with the Post, NYT, or ABC if you're upset. As long as it's covered, we'll cover it too.

(And if they stop, we're not going to forget what's already been written. Sorry pal.)

[...] Personally I think Giuliani’s relationship with his children is more important than his relationship with his cousin, but that’s only because he divorced his cousin and you can’t divorce your children. [...]

OK, here's where standards come in.

1. Provide me the quote in which the word "Clinton" is used in my original post. Otherwise your claims that I'm defending him or her in this post are false. (cricket cricket cricket)

2. Provide me a link of a dictionary definition of madrassa and an accompanying link of a news story that explains how the elementary school Obama attended constitutes a college level school that preaches hate.

3. Provide me a direct quote and link of Andrew Giuliani saying his father would make a great president. (cricket cricket cricket).

And FYI, read this site and you'll see that we are critical of every single Republican candidate. We're not picking on your boy alone here, so stop whining about this being unfair.

"Lastly, if Rudy is so inevitable, why are you wasting your time rebutting a NY Times article on a liberal blog?"

to expose your hypocrisy, nonsense like this needs to be confronted and condemned whenever it shows its face. and the pathetic attempt to stand with the clintons, whose history of scandal is unmatched, while bashing one of the greatest candidates either side has seen in quite some time. and since you believe that reading between the lines is more important then actual facts, then simply say obama was raised in a madrassa. sure it says its just a regular muslim school, but c'mon man read between the lines. and if you actually, genuinely read between the lines, you would know that being upset at your parents divorce doesnt mean HATE.

and despite your dispicable use of the mans son to attack him, he also said his father would make a great president, and if someone who "hates" you can admit that, then you liberal fools should lineup behind rudy and forget the hopeless and pathetic field the liberals have put together.

and when we all read between the lines, articles like these, the ones in newsweek, everything keith olbermann says, and other blue blog rants, shows one common truth: the utter fear liberals have of having to face america's mayor in a general election. so continue your shameful attacks, keep praying(oops liberals dont do that) that you run up against a brownback or a hunter instead of rudy.

matt - you're off your rocker. I answered your "the article doesn't actually use the word HATE so it can't possibly be concluded that not talking to their father for a year constitutes hating him" canard already. Read between the lines, it really isn't complicated - and as I said in the post, this should not be an issue in the campaign.

And we have never once said we are a conservative site. I've made a point of correcting anyone who links to us saying we're conservative bloggers to be clear that we are not. Covering the Republican primary doesn't make us conservative and we have never, ever hid the fact that we are all liberals here. Look at the blog roll. Look what other sites the three main authors write for - it's the top echelon of liberal blogs (FireDogLake, MyDD, Huffington Post).

Just because you're confused doesn't mean we tried to confuse you.

and i would like verification of this articles title. and no point has rudy's children said they hated him, making this, like many posts, and outright lie and smear against america's most qualified and most popular presidential candidate.
