I knew Mitt at Stanford. He had his own fake cop car, a white Rambler with a siren and a police light on the package shelf. He kept this covered with a hat when not in use. He also had a cop or security cop uniform which he used in a gag to pretend to arrest an unsuspecting classmate. None of this would be relevant except that Garrity may have learned these tricks from his mentor. I can't believe that Mitt didn't know what Garrity was up to, and might have even instigated it.
