I was surprised, but glad, to see that our state's very own John Cox was allowed to speak at the big Iowa Straw Poll event. He gave an impressive speech.

Mr. Cox is sharp, intelligent, ambitious, and energetic, and was actually the first candidate to formally announce for President of the United States.

I want to try to avoid openly endorsing a single candidate, as of now, but I will say that it is too bad that the fiscally and socially conservative John Cox does not have more name recognition, and major media coverage.

My favorite part is where the video has several pictures of key Republicans and Democrats on the Hill and that of a storm trooper from the film Star Wars. I’m. Not. Kidding.

I guess the symbolism got missed. The five politicians pictured are all in favor of amnesty, both Republicans and Democrats. The song that the picture appeared on was, "Who will fight the Clones." Thus a Clone Warrior.

Wait, what!? "cheap ’80s hair band rock?!"

Anyone who calls The Mighty Zep "cheap '80s hair band rock" loses all credibility.

John Cox has raised the bar for supreme YouTube awesomeness. This is postmodernism at its finest. This is what we've been waiting for!

This is sure to boost his numbers among the anti-immigrant/pro-Led Zepplin vote.

Well, he did get the song right, it's to the tune of Led Zep's "Immigrant Song," after all. Which was about the Norse, but never mind.

That pretty much beats Mike Gravel's minimalist masterpieces. Wow.
