Romney’s actions were wholly appropriate. What was he supposed to do? Say, hey, “I love the job Senator Craig is doing for me! Loyalty to me matters more than character!” No, that is what Bush might say, but not Romney. At least no one ended up mysteriously committing suicide, as would have happened if Craig was a Clinton ally around in Clinton’s day!

I think Romney was completely appropriate. Craig is a public figure and elected official. He disgraced congress and people in Idaho.

Absolutely this type of behavior must be identified for what it is…unacceptable. I’m tired of politicians soft selling the turpitudes of their own parties.

Good for Romney with the guts to identify it for what it is. I can tell you right now if a CEO of a company did this, he would be out faster than the door can swing. Why is this tolerated in government!
