Actually, matt, the Right's Field was a very popular blog back in 1992 when blogs were at their heyday, and, since they pretty much only talk about Demosocialist candidates for president, yes, they did criticize then Governor Clinton very very much.

haha senators and their committees. talking budgets, funding, and oversight is alot different then policy making and diplomacy.

how about a look at those committees real responsibilities:

Senate Foreign Relations Committee: responsible for overseeing ,but not administering, and funding foreign aid programs as well as funding, arms sales and training for national allies.

Senate Armed Services Committee: enpowered with legislative oversight over the nations military, research and development, nuclear energy, and benefits for military members.

Senate Select Committee on Intelligence: review of the intelligence budget submitted by the President and prepares legislation authorizing appropriations for the various civilian and military agencies and departments

see kids, these committes merely oversee the policies of the executive branch, they do not create or implement policy of their own. rudy giuliani has extensive executive experience, having led the nations third largest bureaucracy and most culturally diverse city, been one of the nation's best u.s. attorneys, and the third ranking official in the justice department, giving giuliani full command and understanding of two of the 3 branches of government. the other branch is represented rather poorly by 3 senators leading the democrat top tier with a total of 2 1/2 terms between the three of them. i grant you they have some experience overseeing someone elses foreign policy, but again i point out they have little or none of their own experience. also, according to the left, this president's foreign policy is a disaster, meaning those who over saw his policy did little to stop it. clinton and edwards voted for war, rudolph giuliani did not.

besides, i doubt if you chided former president clinton when he was merely the gov. of arkansas, with zero foreign policy experience and led a state with a population 1/4 the size of the city of new york.

you want to criticize rudy because you disagree with him, thats one thing, but inexperienced or unqualified he's not.

rudy has as much foreign policy experience as the 3 top dems combined.

I hope you are just being purposefully hyperbolic because that was the dumbest statement

I think being on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee counts more than botching the response to the 9/11 attacks at a local level. (Obama)

... and the Senate Armed Services Committee. (Clinton)

... and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. (Edwards)

ya know, liberals are supposed to be the 'funny' party, with john stewart and such. but this is pretty dull, especially since rudy has as much foreign policy experience as the 3 top dems combined.

'Tootsie' Giuliani wants to be Prez in a major way. The gowns he would wear at state dinners would be off the hook!
