Perhaps the Republicans should consider being saved by an animatronic device with a rubber mask over its mechanized face – perhaps a mask of Ronald Reagan would be ideal. It could have some sort of random number generator built in – or perhaps a magic eightball engineered in such a way that it can work against a vertical surface so it could replace the animatronic robot’s navel. Such a decisionmaker would be statistically likely to make good decisions a bit more frequently than the current Republican president.

I guess Thompson is running on the ‘more like Bush than Bush’ platform.
