With respect, I disagree.  Most of the talking heads seem to know very well how policies can improve THEIR lives.  The problem is that they don&#039;t care to explain or even expose policies that would pertain (for better or worse) to 99% of the people in this country.

Cynically: Why would you expect them to be different?  You can&#039;t be BFF with a politician at tonight&#039;s big party, cut him up on your show tomorrow, then get an invite to the next big party.

But then, I think it&#039;s indecent for presidents and vice-presidents to give &quot;exclusive&quot; interviews to talking heads.  So what do I know?</description>
