I liked the 2nd ad, also. He should just do those. Hell, Democrats should just do those. I actually feel like I’m being treated like an adult when I watch it.

I think the secret weapon of campaign ads would be infomercials (ideally longer than 10 minutes). People tuned in to Perot when he did them; I think people like being presented with actual information.

Ron Paul is the only candidate who follows the Constitution word-for-word… especially the part about taxes, and how they are to be used to make television commercials that sell Shrimp.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul — libertarian gadfly and current Republican Presidential hopeful — has made a name for himself as a critic of overspending. But it seems even he can’t resist the political allure of earmarks.

After reporters started asking questions, the Congressman disclosed his requests this year for about $400 million worth of federal funding for no fewer than 65 earmarks. They include such urgent national wartime priorities as an $8 million request for the marketing of wild American shrimp and $2.3 million to fund shrimp-fishing research.

When we called Mr. Paul’s office for an explanation, his spokesperson offered up something worthy of pork legends Tom DeLay or Senator Robert C. Byrd: “Reducing earmarks does not reduce government spending, and it does not prohibit spending upon those things that are earmarked,” the spokesman said.

This indicates a problem with the judgement and competance of the campaign management. It’s going to be difficult for Paul to get to the next level, unless upper management is replaced with people who are more savvy.

Can Fake Republicans like Rudy, Mitt , McCain, and Thompson get off the stage already…

We need real Republicans going against the Demo-rats.

The Media and the GOP seem to want a Liberal in the white House no matter what the Republican base wants.

They keep trying to sell us the Liberal vs. Liberal dog and pony show but I am not buying it.

I am voting Republican in the primary, I am voting for Ron Paul.

I like them, the second the best. He is armed with quick wit and constitutional knowledge. Ready to spout ” All this talk about lawyers, baffles me!!!”

I love it!! How can you not like a guy who holds something so dear in his heart.

Ron holds it dear in his heart because its all he talks about, Family, liberty and the constitution.
