'Try as he might, Josh Marshall could not come up with one other instance in American history where a politician sought to overstay his legally sanctioned term of office.'

more spin, to deny the truth: new yorkers asked rudy to stay. the polls showed giuliani would have won a landslide reelection had been allowed to run. but the people were denied the leader they wanted to most, mostly because liberals couldnt stomach another repuplican victory in their liberal haven...oops that happend anyway!!!

thanks for the shout-out noah, at least you know when im going to call this site out on its bullshit.

'extreme form of authoritarian neoconservative'

yea it sure was extreme there in new york for eights years, i mean record lows for crime, welfare, and taxes. safe streets, clean streets, a comfortable and safe enviornment to live and have a family. oh what a fucking nightmare it was! back i say, back to old, pre-rudy new york, thats where we want to go.

this phony 'authoritarian' nonsense is the liberals last grasp at trying to explain how none of them could run new york safely and successfully for a generation. a city of liberals, run by liberals, was a disaster, and rudy saved it. period.
